As a QA Automation Trainee, you will participate in a rigorous 6 month program we like to call the "Nerdery". Yes, you will be a Nerd and you will absolutely love it 🤓. The Nerdery is a hands on, mentor-guided program that pairs ambitious juniors with the top experienced mentors. You will be an active learner and will leverage mentorship as you develop your skills in preparation for project and client work. You will paid for your time as a Nerd.
Minimum Requirements
Required daily in-office attendance during training (San Salvador or Arequipa)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Understanding of programming concepts (variables, loops, functions) in any language; willingness to learn TypeScript/JavaScript
Familiarity with the mobile and web software development lifecycle
Analytical mindset with the ability to break down features into testable scenarios
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to any test automation tool or framework (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, etc.) – even from a tutorial or personal project
Basic familiarity with version control using Git and the command line
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira / Confluence) or similar project management platforms
Exposure to test case management tools such as TestRail
Understanding of API core concepts (REST, HTTP methods, status codes)
Familiarity with Postman, Insomnia, Charles Proxy, or other networking/debugging tools
Basic understanding of A/B testing concepts
