We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and strategic Product Manager to join our team. This role is critical in bridging client goals with our technical team's execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that drive business value. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, thrives on critical thinking, and takes ownership of both client relationships and project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and Drive the Roadmap: Translate the client’s vision into detailed requirements and a strategic roadmap to guide the technical team effectively.

  • Own and Manage the Product Backlog: Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize and maintain a clear, actionable product backlog aligned with strategic goals.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, confidently managing calls, advising on decisions, and articulating the impact of changes throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Coordinate Delivery: Work closely with the delivery team to ensure timely achievement of project milestones, resolving roadblocks, and aligning priorities.

  • Risk Mitigation and Planning: Proactively identify potential risks and develop actionable plans to address them, ensuring smooth project delivery.

  • Champion Agile Practices: Actively participate in all Agile rituals, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.

  • Resource Allocation: Effectively manage project resources to balance workloads and meet timelines.

  • Foster Collaboration: Build strong relationships across teams, encouraging a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent written and spoken English: Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a software development environment, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in confidently managing multiple stakeholders and aligning their expectations with project realities.

  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.

  • Product Leadership: A track record of taking ownership and driving projects to successful completion.

  • Proficiency with project management and design tools: Good knowledge of leveraging common project management tools like Jira, Linear, Trello or others coupled with knowledge using Figma for design

Preferred Qualifications (You'll Earn Points If):

  • A degree (more points) or background in technical roles such as Software Developer, QA Engineer, or similar

  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and practices such as Scrum or Kanban.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Location:

This position is open to candidates based anywhere in Latin America and is fully remote. Candidates located near our offices in Arequipa, Peru or San Salvador, El Salvador have the option to work in a hybrid in-office/remote arrangement. While office attendance is not mandatory, regular or occasional visits to the office is valued.
