We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Engineer who's an Specialist in Oracle HCM to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex integrations between Oracle HCM and various internal and external systems. You will play a critical part in ensuring seamless data flow, optimizing business processes, and leveraging the full capabilities of the day platform.
Main Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) — including Integrations, Connections, and orchestration flows
Develop and extend user interfaces and lightweight applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
Perform bulk data loads, migrations, and reconciliations using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and FBDI templates
Consume and expose Oracle ERP/HCM REST APIs for custom integrations, automation, and data exchange
Configure Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Absence, Talent, Benefits, or Payroll) in alignment with client business requirements
Build HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, and OTBI/BI Publisher reports to support operational and compliance reporting
Conduct technical design workshops, produce integration design documents (IDDs), and maintain technical documentation
Support SIT and UAT cycles — write and execute test scripts, triage defects, and coordinate resolution with functional and client teams
Stay current with Oracle quarterly releases and assess technical impact on active integrations and configurations
Main Requirements:
3–5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud in a technical or techno-functional capacity
Proven experience building integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Working knowledge of HCM Data Loader for data migration and ongoing data management
Experience consuming Oracle REST APIs in an integration or automation context
Ability to read and write JSON/XML and work with structured data formats
Strong documentation habits — IDDs, technical specs, test scripts, and runbooks
Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
You’ll earn points if:
Oracle VBCS development experience (forms, pages, service connections to HCM APIs)
Oracle HCM Cloud certification (any module or integration track)
Exposure to Oracle Payroll Cloud or third-party payroll system integrations
Experience in a consulting or SI (systems integrator) environment
Experience with any web technologies and AI tooling
Location:
This position is open to candidates based anywhere in Latin America and is fully remote. Candidates located near our offices in Arequipa, Peru or San Salvador, El Salvador have the option to work in a hybrid in-office/remote arrangement. While office attendance is not mandatory, regular or occasional visits to the office are valued.
