As a Agentic Software Engineer - Trainee, you will participate in a rigorous 6 month program we like to call the "Nerdery". Yes, you will be a Nerd and you will absolutely love it 🤓. The Nerdery is a hands on, mentor-guided program that pairs ambitious Juniors with the top experienced mentors. You will be an active learner and will leverage mentorship as you develop your skills in preparation for project and client work. A core part of this program is learning to work effectively with AI-assisted development tools and workflows, preparing you for how modern software is built today. You will get paid for your time as a Nerd.
Minimum Requirements
Required daily office attendance during the training (San Salvador or Arequipa)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong communicator
Proficiency in at least one programming language
Strong understanding of consuming REST APIs
Proficiency in Git
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with any modern web or mobile framework
Excellent written and verbal skills in English
Strong knowledge of OOP concepts
Basic understanding of debugging and the tools used for it
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar)
Knowledge of unit testing is a plus
Familiarity with CI/CD tools is a plus
